The case concluded yesterday of a teacher who filmed secretly in the classroom without permission from parents or colleagues. The findings of the GTC's Conduct Committee, and the reasons for its decision, have now been published on the website. (25 Mar 2009)

The GTC registration fee will be held at 33 for the year 2009-2010.  In January, Council approved a programme of work for the next three years to 2012. On 25 March, it approved a budget to support the first year of this programme. (25 Mar 2009)

The significant and lasting impact of the Teacher Learning Academy (TLA) in schools has been revealed in an independent report.
